While perusing the Dr. Phil website for a listing of this week’s programming, I happened upon the “Caught in the Act” show which will air on Friday. And in it will star Katie Rees, the naughty Miss Neveda.

While Britney’s locked away at rehab, it appears someone has decided to finallymake a charge on her website. It’s been out of commission for quite awhile, with just that stupid picture frame enclosing various notes of apology or weird ramblings.

Now they’ve just changed the homepage picture. Why they picked that one, I’m uncertain. It looks nothing like her anymore. But it does says it’s coming soon. Expect it in another 6 months or so.

I thought the rumor of a suicide watch had been denied by Brintey’s manager, but Female First is reporting that Britney is in fact, on suicide watch, after allegedly trying to swallow two bottles of painkillers. I’ll have to confirm the validity on that one.

In other Britney news, her ever-slimy ex-husband, Jason Alexander is announcing that he’s personally witnessed Britney go on drug-binged, booze-filled lesbian escapes, and that he’s actually been a part of them.

The latest in this long, drawn out affair…I think they’re finally through the meat of the really dull part.

Whoever it was presenting during the ode to foreign films was the dullest pair with zero personality. One was actually Ken Watanabe from The Last Samari. They were terribly stiff and uncomfortable up there - and the camera caught an odd reaction from Sascha Baron Cohen.

Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson did a performance for Dreamgirls. Jennifer Hudson has a way better voice then Beyonce - sounds a little like Aretha Franklin. It was a great performance, though…costumes, musicians, choreography - all were spectacular!

Melissa Etheridge is now an Oscar winner for her song, I Need to Wake Up, from the documentary An Inconvenient Truth.

Al Gore is also part of the crew that won an Oscar for Best Documentary. Invents the internet AND wins an Oscar. And was the Vice-Prez. How can one person be so lucky?

I really like Ellen as the host! I remember she did the Grammy’s a few years back and I thought she was great on there! She has a really relaxed, normal person quality that works better than the host they’ve had the last few years. Go Ellen!

I had to pause for a moment to watch the death reel. I like that part.

9:00: Forrest Whitaker wins Best Actor for The Last King of Scotland.

8:55: Helen Mirren wins Best Actress Oscar for The Queen. She gave a simply delightful speech. And then she hit backstage for tea and crumpets caked with a dollop of butter. No, her speech was really quite sweet. Oh…oh…blank TV screen…what happened to the Oscars?

Somewhere Inbetween: Alan Arkin wins Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in Little Miss Sunshine!

7:42: Jennifer Hudson wins Best Supporting Actress for Dreamgirls!! She made a good speech…very sincere! The best part is that someone must have convinced her to ditch that putrid shiny jacket before she got up on stage!

The bigger celebrities are starting to arrive now. Who’s a fashion “yea” and who’s a fashion “nea” in Hollyweird tonight?

Jada Pinkett Smith in yellow/gold satin - it’s a beautiful color for a black woman; Forest Whitaker’s wife wore the same color, and they both look fabulous.

Beyonce is wearing what appears to be mint green. The top is stunning; the bottom…not so much.

Gweneth Paltrow is wearing a red/pink creation that’s really unique, but I don’t really care for the top from what I’ve seen. The bottom is pretty, though.

Kirsten Dunst’s frock is something my grandmother would wear!!! And her hair looks like mine today - which I haven’t washed and is thrown up in a sloppy bun…her bangs look like one of her friends quick chopped ‘em off at home.

Nicole Kidman just arrived…she’s wearing red, but I haven’t had a good look yet.

Leonardo=HOT…looking very good!

Celine Dion gave the normal look a try for once in a subdued olive-colored gown….shit she’s performing tonight; that’ll be a channel-changer.

Queen Latifah has a beautiful black dress on - and I hate black clothes!

Kate Winslet is up for one of my personal favorites in a mint green Grecian-style gown. I think she, Penelope Cruz and Jada Pinkett Smith are tied for my favorites.

Blogging Live During the Oscars!!!!

Not a whole lot has happened, E! is merely live from the red carpet at this point. But here’s my observations thus far:

*Ryan Seacrest is gayer than ever - he interviewed Ellen Degeneres and she told him she’s watches American Idol to see what he wears, because they dress alike.

*Portia De Rossi has a pretty dress with braided details, but it’s a dark, dreary color. I like COLORS.

*Jennifer Hudson - she’s wearing a gorgeous brown dress, but ruined it with a horrific metallic jacket.

*Melissa Etheridge - She’s wearing a hideous men’s suit

*Penelope Cruz has looks absolutely beautiful…she’ wearing pink and I love the dress!

*Jennifer Lopez - Stunning dress, but she chopped her hair and I hate it.

*Cameron Diaz - I usually hate what she wears, but she has on a white creation that isn’t too bad…but it does look casual for the Oscars.

*Jessica Biel - She looks casual too. Her dress is hot pink with a black belt around the waist - her hair is crimped and I’m not sure if I like the look.

What a change…it’s Daddy talking to the press this time instead of Mommy!

Britney Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, recently talked to Fox News about Britney’s recent visit(s) to rehab. He said that Britney is “a sick little girl.”

A sick little girl with two children and two marriages under her belt.

He also said that he and Lynne Spears are “concerned about our daughter.”

Where was the concern when she was stripping on stage at the age of 15?

He added, “We’re just trying to take care of her.”

Hmmm…nice they’re making the effort now, but it’s too little, too late. Britney’s so completely fucked up because they didn’t do their job 10 years ago. But broadcasting more of her private life on national news is a great way start off your new stint as a care-giving parent.

As someone who went through treatment himself, wouldn’t Jamie Spears realize that being in rehab is something you’d like to call as little attention to as possible?
