DEATHWATCH: James Brown Buried Temporarily

James Brown

A lot of posts about death today! I’ve been keeping tabs on the burial - or lack thereof - of James Brown since his death in December.

Just a mere 76 days after his death, James Brown was given a temporary resting place - a crypt in South Carolina emblazoned with the words “Godfather of Soul” - with the ever-ready Reverend Al Sharpton presiding over the ceremony.

Brown’s children, in the meantime, are still planning on speaking with the Presley family about how they too, can reap the benefits of their father’s fame by converting his home into a Graceland-type money-maker. When they do get to that point, Brown’s body would be moved back into his home in a public mausoleum, and that would be his final resting place.

Brown’s partner, Tomi Rae Hynie, who also has a 5-year-old son by James, says Brown’s wishes were to have their marital home become a Graceland.

Brad Delp, the lead singer of the band Boston was found dead on Friday at his home in New Hampshire! He was only 55, and no foul play is suspected…so it could be the classic overdose that befalls rock bands. Boston of course, the band with 70’s hits like More Than a Feeling, Long Time.

DEATHWATCH: James Brown

JamesBrown

James Brown died on Christmas Day.

A month ago, I was shocked to learn that he had yet to be buried.

To this point, I still had not heard about his burial, so I did a little research.

James Brown is still above ground. And according to his mortician, he is still quite well-preserved. Who knew that beeswax could revitalize dead flesh?

Tomorrow will mark 60 days since his death. How many more days can pass before decomposition kicks in? Pool, anyone?

Don’t Judge Me. I Don’t Need Your Pity.

AnnaNicole

Is there is someone knowledgeable in the legal field who stoops so low as to read this blog that could be so kind as to clarify the definition of an impartial judge?

Perhaps I deciphered the meaning incorrectly, as it was my assumption that to be an impartial judge you must not show emotion. And furthermore, how is “emotion” defined in the legal sense? Is crying an deemed an “emotion” in legal jargon?

I ponder these things because Florida Circuit Court Judge Larry Seidlin was crying as he announced his decision on Anna’s body…of which court-appointed guardian of Dannielynn, Richard Milstein, was…ummm…awarded???

“I want her buried. With her son. In the Bahamas. I want them to be together.”

Why was the judge bawling? In fact, everyone in the courtroom was sobbing - with the exception of Larry Birkhead. Even the lawyers.

Where’s the dignity in this judge? Where’s the dignity in any of these vermin?

Her death is a worse disaster than her life.
