This Weeks Nominees for Eviction:
Amber is on the chopping block this week. What I can make of her is she is a very emotional person who thinks the world of her family. HOWEVER…she may want to tone down the crying and shit as everyone in the house will get sick of it and it will end up being a downfall for her. I’ve seen it happen before. I mean, who wants to spend the whole damn summer with someone who can’t stop crying?? When in the diary room after the nominations, she said she would never have put Kail on the block due to the fact that she’s a mother too. That’s a pretty lame reason for not nominating someone. But who am I?
Carol is nominee number 2. She must be holding her cards pretty close to the vest as I haven’t seen much come from her. She has one of the 3 enemies in house and hers is Jessica. They had a conversation early on in the episode tonight and I think they’re going to try to convince everyone that they hate each other, but be secretly aligned. Yeah…cuz that’s worked so many times in the past.
When Kail made her announcements and gave her reasons for nominating these two, she did it in a very smart way. She picked a reason that no one could argue with. These two ladies were the first two out of the first HOH competition. Smart, very smart. She did elude to the fact that there were other reasons too, but no one needed to know them. Hmmm…
So at the beginning of the show tonight, the house guests competed in their first food competition. It was called Butter Me Up! and they weren’t kidding. Now, imagine this…you are living in a house (a NICE house) with 13 other people and you walk out into your backyard (a NICE backyard) and find a movie snack. Popcorn!! GIANT popcorn buckets (one for the red team and one for the blue) and giant popcorn butter dispensers. Each team has one person pressing the giant butter dispensers pumps ONTO their team mates. Said team mates must then run to the giant popcorn bucket and have other team mates squeegee the butter off of them. One team had most of the big handsome men on it. The other was stuck with mostly women. But, the women had LONG hair. I think you know where this is going. The red team ened up winning due to the volume of butter that the womens hair could hold! They had managed to drench themselves and then ring themselves out 76 pounds of butter. Wow, that’s just kinda gross! For the record, the blue team had 37 pounds of butter. (I think it was 37).
In years past, the losing team of the food challenge used to have to eat PB&J for the following week. They have since switched to Big Brother Slop. Which in and of itself, sounds down right nasty. Then they show it and I can feel the bile rising. It’s in huge buckets and they have to scoop it out. They are supposed to mix it with hot water. I believe in the past they have been allowed to mix it with like maple syrup and stuff like that. At any rate, I would much rather have the PB&J for a week.
One more big happening was the first major alliance came to be tonight. Kail, the current HOH, was approached by Zach about an alliance with him. Kail thought that was a fairly good idea, but thought they should throw Mike and Nick in the mix too. She says she wanted the other two for added protection. I have to wonder if she just didn’t want to surround herself with young, hot, ripped men?!!? I mean, who could blame her really!
A couple of observations on my part. Jen, is a bitch. A self-centered bitch. When their pictures appeared on the “picture wall”, she flew into hysterics! She complained that the angle was wrong and the lighting was wrong. Perhaps what was really wrong is the person they were shooting! I literally thought she would scream like a banshee. Jeez…get a grip and then get a life.
Observation Number 2:
Jessica is snotty. And whiney. And dizzy. And I’m having a really hard time actually pinpointing the word I’m looking for. But I don’t like her.
Drama 101: Joe, one of the original 11 in the house has one of the other enemies. His ex-boyfriend Dustin. Neither was thrilled to learn of the others existance in the house. This will be the drama this year as they shared the hammock tonight and had an argument. All I can say is Puh-lease…get over yourselves!
So, that’s the recap for tonight! Check back on Tuesday night, same time, same place to see who wins the Power Of Veto (POV) and whether they will use it. Also, it will be the first eviction. Sparks will fly!!!
